✨Does this map of my retailers make me look like an international perfume company?! 👀✨

2024 was chaotic, wild, exciting, messy, and monumental in so many ways. There are 72 shops carrying my products across the country, plus 1 in Australia now!!!

My little business blew up with repeat orders, new customers, my largest perfume order to date, and my first international wholesale order that went to Melbourne (thank you PETAL - your order made my year 🙃)…although I am kinda jealous my perfumes got to go to Australia before I did 😏

Then yesterday I kicked off 2025 by touring my first potential brick-and-mortar space because I’m reaching the point where I can’t keep up with orders on my own and need to start thinking about hiring help (which is insane).

✨Want to Smell Like Taylor Swift?✨

When I came across a video listing out Taylor Swift’s favorite perfumes, I couldn’t resist buying sample vials of…literally all of them (Research & Development is a legitimate business expense, okay…).

What I was most surprised to find was that her go-to perfume, Santal Blush, was SO similar to a blend that I’ve had in the works for over a year now. I just couldn’t come up with a name to describe its perfectly balanced notes of spice, warm woods, and a hint of creamy amber musk. So I tabled it - because it deserved the perfect description.

Playing off her second favorite perfume to blend with, Amber Musk, I embodied this as the base note in my blend to perfectly round everything out.

So there you have it - meet Blush (My Version). Probably my favorite perfume of all time, and the one I’ll be wearing every day for the foreseeable future.

It feels so good to get organized after the chaotic messes I make during big orders.

This week has been filled with back to back perfume orders. Which makes me so happy.

Three new retailers are carrying my perfumes. And not just the rollers - the big Eau de Parfums as well 🥰 I must admit, I was a little hesitant to make the investment for the equipment to make them. So watching them pour out the door like they have been is really, really awesome.

Not to mention the rollers just sold out during the last event. So I guess it’s time to make more of those and this desk won’t stay organized for long after all 😉

P.S. Shout out to @flexispot_official for the perfect little filing cabinet. It’s keeping me sane having somewhere to finally put all my different kinds of label paper 😅👏

Five years since I shed the weight of societal norms for what “success” looked like and indulged myself in a life of creativity. Because life was too short not to. And it’s been five years already somehow.

It’s been a whirlwind of a month in the best and most exhausting way.

I started working with two new retailers that I couldn’t be more excited about. I had back-to-back wholesale orders keeping me busy all month, and I fulfilled an order of 700 candles that’s about to get picked up by a literal freight truck because it weighs over 1,000 lbs.

I did NOT get to sleep much…but when I did, it was with a smile on my face.

I did NOT get to sleep much…but when I did, it was with a smile on my face.

This is where the magic happens!!! Every candle, perfume and wax melt is made by hand in this space.

My s/o and I worked hard over the past year to make this room both functional and inspiring - someplace I wouldn’t mind spending all my work hours.

He built the walls, wired the electric, and made this awesome custom workshop table to fit all my supplies perfectly while I picked out colors, designed the layout and hand painted the “tiles” on the concrete floor (which took WAY longer than expected, btw)…

For my little office nook, I have these super functional (and spine-saving) standing desktops from @flexispot because sitting at a desk just really isn’t my style 😉

I think it’s safe to say this is my happy place 😌

Fun fact! This little guy right here is one of the main reasons I started making candles.

Birds have very sensitive respiratory systems, and despite a love for candles, I could never burn a department store candle around him because of the chemical by-products their waxes consist of.

I only use 100% soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrances in my candles. What that means? A bird-safe, clean and eco-friendly burn ☺️
